Place the almonds into a blender and blend on chop for 30 seconds until it looks like a fine cornmeal. Place into a bowl and add the ground flaxseed and cinnamon. Whisk together until combined. Place in a covered jar or sealed plastic bag and store in the refrigerator.
This will make approximately 2 cups. Store in the refrigerator and each day sprinkle a couple of tablespoons onto your morning cereal or yogurt, or add it to your smoothie. It's a great way to add some important nutrients like omega-3 fatty acids, fibre, protein, magnesium and selenium.
