HAPPY MOTHERS DAY! CHEERS TO BEING PERFECTLY (UN)PERFECT!

If you are a “Mom” chances are you are spending the day being appreciated and loved by your children, family and friends. Maybe you were surprised with a great breakfast in bed, a card with a loving message, a phone call to say “I love you”, some beautiful flowers delivered to your door or a great meal out at your favourite restaurant! Whatever your special day is looking like I hope you are enjoying every single moment of it because you are worth celebrating!

We “Moms” may not get everything right all the time…. we may not do the right thing or say the right thing in every situation and we may even look back on some and wish we had a complete “do over” because it went so wrong…. but that’s “ok” because we are all just perfectly (un)perfect!

So take some “you” time and celebrate being a perfectly (un)perfect Mom!

  • Finally take some time to read that book that’s been sitting untouched on the book shelf for months

  • Have your very own “spa” day! Make yourself a great Avocado face mask, foot soak/cleanse and have a fabulous Epsom salt and lavender infused bath

  • Put in your ear buds, enjoy your favourite music and go on a long walk or bike ride

  • Relax in the kitchen preparing a fantastic meal like any of the great avocado recipes found here or a delicious Country Chicken Sweet Potato Pie or a great dessert like the Fruit Crisp recipe below or any of the great desserts found here

Whatever it is that you decide to do today... Have a fantastic one and HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!
