SEA SALT vs. SALT: KNOW THE DIFFERENCE AND CHOOSE THE BEST FOR YOUR HEALTH

Salt helps our body make digestive enzymes and hydrochloric acid and our liver produces bile salts that help to break down Vitamins A, D, E and K... so "yes" salt is important for our overall health and wellness.

In fact the value of minerals and trace elements cannot be stressed enough...they are the spark of life. Without them, we just wouldn't survive. In fact our whole body is one bio-electric organism; our brains and our nervous system run on electric energy.

But it's important to note that Table Salt and Sea Salt are two entirely different things and knowing the difference between the two and choosing the best for your health is important....

Table Salt

Table salt has been stripped of its valuable nutrients; it consists of over 95% sodium chloride and has had dextrose, sodium bicarbonate and silicates added to it (this helps it to run nicely out of the salt shaker and helps it maintain a nice white colour) but it does nothing for our good health!

Sea Salt

Sea salt is loaded with valuable minerals like calcium, sodium, potassium. magnesium (and other valuable trace minerals) Sea salt is actually a health-promoting item as it will put these valuable minerals into your body when you salt your food/recipes.

So make the switch from table salt to sea salt. It tastes better, it's purer and it's healthier for you!
